Funding Opportunities

The Eisenhower Foundation actively seeks funding to help schools cover expenses associated with field trips to the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home in Abilene, Kansas. Ike's Field Trip Fund

Launched in time for the Spring 2017 school semester, Ike's Field Trip Fund is designed to provide financial support to schools visiting the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum. Simply complete this application to be considered for funding. Please note that funds are extremely limited and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Dane G. Hansen Field Trip Program

 
Is your school located in northwestern Kansas? Through generous funding from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation of Logan, Kansas, the Eisenhower Foundation is providing field trip grants to schools in Northwest Kansas for travel, educational programs, and other related expenses to explore the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home. Submit your grant application today.

The following Kansas counties are eligible for the Dane G. Hansen Field Trip Program:

Cheyenne, Cloud, Decatur, Ellis, Ellsworth, Gove, Graham, Jewell, Lincoln, Logan, Mitchell, Norton, Osborne, Ottawa, Phillips, Rawlins, Republic, Rooks, Russell, Saline, Sheridan, Sherman, Smith, Thomas, Trego, and Wallace.

Canteen Program


Thanks to generous donors, IKEducation is able to provide onsite lunches to schools through the 2016-17 school year. To take advantage of this opportunity, choose the "Canteen Program" option when you submit your Field Trip Request Form.

Target Field Trip Grants


Not from Northwest Kansas? Target stores award field trip grants to Kindergarten - 12th Grade schools nationwide. Applications are available online and are accepted between August 1st and September 30th.

Local Funding Organizations


Check with local civic organizations, such as Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, and the Community Foundation, to see if they offer funding.
