#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.
This year, on Tuesday, November 28th, the Eisenhower Foundation will be participating in our first ever #GivingTuesday to help raise funds for IKEducation, the innovative K-12 program offered online and onsite at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum.
Ike believed, “The true purpose of education is to prepare young men and women for effective citizenship,” and through IKEducation, the Eisenhower Foundation continues this legacy. Since 2013, over 20,000 students have participated in programs onsite. We invite you to join the movement!
Launched this year, Ike’s Field Trip Fund has already provided funding for over 700 students to participate in IKEducation programs onsite at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum. By offsetting expenses like bus transportation and lunches for visiting schools, this fund is making field trips possible...and passing on Ike’s Legacy.
On #GivingTuesday, November 28th, the Eisenhower Foundation hopes to raise $5,000 for Ike’s Field Trip Fund so another 10 school groups can visit Ike’s hometown this year. We hope you will join this national movement by supporting this special fund. To learn more about Ike's Field Trip Fund, please click here.
