Celebrate IKEducation today on #GivingTuesday

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the giving season as a reminder of the "reason for the season."

We invite you to join the millions around the world participating in #GivingTuesday by donating $25 – in honor of the 25,000 students served through IKEducation since 2013 – to Ike's Field Trip Fund. Over $10,000 was donated to this fund last year and we are hoping to raise another $10,000 by the end of 2018.

IKEducation continues to serve more and more students each year and we currently have three schools on a waiting list for Ike's Field Trip Fund. These trips bring history to life for students and leave a lasting impact.

As one teacher from Manhattan, Kansas, said, "We study regions and our national story in 4th grade. We talk a great deal about President Eisenhower, discuss major events in history such as WWI and WWII, we spend time learning about Rosie the Riveter and many other topics that fit with the museum. I love to get the students out of the classroom whenever possible to see artifacts, discuss what they have learned and have a meaningful trip to write about when we finish."
