If you live in the Abilene community or are within commuting distance and think you might enjoy volunteer work in the areas of educational programs, reception office duties, or working with archival and museum files and records, we encourage you to consider becoming a volunteer.
Due to new Homeland Security procedures, a background check, fingerprinting, and photo identification cards (i.e. current driver's license, U.S. passport, or any official U.S. Government or state-issued photo identification; work permit or legal resident alien) are now required for all volunteers.
