Eisenhower Foundation Website: Our Digital Bridge

In a year marked by uncertainty, one thing has remained sure: the unwavering commitment from our supporters. This past year reinforced just how loyal you all are, a testament to the strength of this organization.

We are proud of what we have accomplished together. The IKEducation Virtual Classroom will be an integral part of our journey toward the next 75 years of executing our mission. This will ensure the stories and values from Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Greatest Generation are passed on to future generations.

The coming months will be exciting as new interactive components are unveiled at www.EisenhowerFoundation.net.

In March 2021, we launched the IKEducation Primary Source Library. This ever-growing resource showcases archival documents, historic photos, and 3-D imaging of artifacts. While designed specifically with teachers and students in mind, this tool is also accessible for all learners to peruse.

In May, the digital resources acquired through our partnership with the Eisenhower Memorial Commission will launch. This includes an interactive timeline of Ike’s life, seven Pivotal Moments, information and an audio tour of the Washington, D.C.-based memorial, and the history of the Eisenhower Legacy Organizations.

Finally, Ike’s Soldiers: A Virtual World War II Honor Roll, will be launched in June 2021. Read more about this initiative on pages 3-4 of our April 2021 Ike Insight newsletter.

These important projects would not be possible without our supporters and people, like you, across the country who still like Ike. Together, we are building a digital bridge for Ike’s legacy to connect with learners well into the future.
