Bring your friends and family to watch a broadcast of the July 4th activities from the National Archives in Washington, D.C., beginning at 10 a.m. in the Eisenhower Presidential Library Visitors Center auditorium. The first 100 attendees will receive a free souvenir fan. The program will feature a keynote speech by Cokie Roberts, journalist and author. Also included will be a presentation of colors by the 3rd U.S. Infantry "The Old Guard" Continental Color Guard, remarks by David Ferriero, Archivist of the United States, and vocal performances of the National Anthem by Crystal Mosser and "America the Beautiful" by Caleb Green. The dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence will be presented by costumed interpreters portraying historical characters, including Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Abigail Adams, John Dunlap, John Hancock, and Ned Hector.
