Become a Stars & Stripes Sponsor
In his first Inaugural address in 1953, President Dwight D. Eisenhower said, “Whatever America hopes to bring to pass in the world must first come to pass in the heart of America.” For Ike, the "heart of America" was right here in Kansas. The Eisenhower Foundation, in partnership with the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum, and Boyhood Home, strive to provide first-class educational exhibits, programs and events for our guests visiting Ike's hometown, Abilene, Kansas.
One of only 14 Presidential Libraries nationwide, The Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum was recently named "Best Kansas Attraction" by USA Today. More than 200,000 guests from around the world visited this campus and the Abilene area last year.
There are several sponsorship options described below, and we look forward to partnering with you. The Eisenhower Foundation invites your company or organization to become a Stars & Stripes Sponsor by calling our office at 785-263-6771 or inquiring by email to info@eisenhowerfoundation.net.

General Eisenhower
$100 and up
Eisenhower Foundation sponsors also support a variety of programs offered throughout the year at the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home, including:
Author/Scholar Presentations
New books continue to be published about Ike every year, and the authors are invited to speak at the Eisenhower Presidential Library. Many of these invited authors conducted research using the Library’s holdings. Other public programs feature experts, or films, on subjects relevant to Eisenhower, from World War I through Ike’s two terms as President. These short programs bring to light current research about this remarkable man and the era in which he lived.
IKEducation
The Eisenhower Foundation’s innovative IKEducation program provides unique, hands-on educational experiences for K-12 students that enhance their understanding of Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States and World War II Supreme Allied Commander. Since it’s inception in 2013, more than 20,000 students and teachers have participated in IKEducation. Your sponsorship dollars allow us to expand IKEducation and to continue offering these programs free of charge to visiting school groups.
Constitution Day
Each September, hundreds of elementary students and teachers from across Kansas attend the Constitution Day program at the Eisenhower Presidential Library. Students learn about the three branches of government, with special emphasis on the Executive Branch. Sponsor support helps us encourage students to develop habits of good citizenship for America’s future.
Research Travel Grant Fund
This program encourages scholars from across the globe to research using the extensive holdings in the Eisenhower Presidential Library for publication. Grants are awarded to individual researchers on a competitive basis to cover a portion of their expenses while in Abilene, Kansas. This important fund furthers the study of the life and legacy of Dwight D. Eisenhower.
General Eisenhower sponsors will be listed on the Stars & Stripes Sponsor page of the Eisenhower Foundation website.
Sponsorships are accepted throughout the year. We look forward to discussing your company’s interest in supporting our programs. If you have questions, please contact Denise Youtsey at the Eisenhower Foundation, 785-263-6771.
