BIOGRAPHY

Donald Bein passed ASTP exams for High School and took basic training at Fort Benning then was assigned to 86th Infantry at Camp Livingston in California. Bein was stationed in Europe as Infantry replacement. Next he was sent to 9th armored Division. When the war was over he ended up with the 1st Infantry occupation. Bein has spoken about WW 2 and the Holocaust and concentration camps for around 70 years.
